How about an update?

Things here are going swimmingly well--well, not quite--Okay, better than even a month ago. In fact, I had a great laugh when I was told by my doctor on Monday that my blood pressure is now too LOW. How delicious is that? :P So, some med adjustments, my new boot (read torture device), and a couple of days to get used to it all has kinda been necessary. Even those things aren't so bad really, and the jokes and comraderie around here really help.

My sister-in-law is managing to keep this baby from making too early an appearance. I find I'm on the phone with Mom about every other day to get updates, and at last check, she'd had several good days after a small ER visit from another discharge scare. (Discharge is the nicest term I could think of. Sorry if it offends or makes you go "Ewww".) No one's really clear about when little "Job" will be coming, but it's becoming somewhat certain that he won't be holding out until August 24th.

Lessee...things really are looking so much up. I think yesterday was the worst of the boot situation, and I ended up sitting here cackling madly at DJ Logos on the Cape. It was great! (Thank you, Mal!) Hopefully by next week, we'll have settled into a more comfortable routine, and I'll be back to surfing the net wildly trying to find something to entertain you with every day, because our lives will be boring again! :)
