Incommunicado

I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter books. It's Mike's brother's fault. He gave me the first book for Christmas one year, and I was instantly drawn in. Every time a new one comes out, it gets passed around here in quick succession until we've all gotten our fix. My copy of Deathly Hollows was pre-purchased months ago, and I'll be heading to the mall to get it as soon as I can Saturday morning.

I have a huge dilema though. Apparently, there's a surprise ending or a twist of some kind, and it's a huge deal. There are rumours and leaks and legal actions and people already having copies and....yeesh!

So, here's my plan. It took me 4 days to read the last book. I don't want to know how it ends until I read it, but it's such a hot topic, and there are so many people who will want to discuss it, divulge the secret, etc., I know I'm gonna hear/read/see something that's gonna give it away.

Unless!

Unless...

I just stop reading blogs, news pages, global channels in game, the works! No IM clients, no myspace bulletins, nothing. A total communications blackout until I've read it myself.

So, yeah...think that's what I'll do.

Oh come on! I'm not crazy! I'm just a little obsessed. :P
