Normally, I'd dismiss this movie out of hand as something I may end up seeing if one of the guys gets it into their heads to rent it one day, maybe. But the odd thing is (and I just can't find the site anymore or I'd link it), a couple months ago, I found a website put up by someone from the town we live in who was living next to a BSO officer (county police here), and some of the things in the trailer are things they were talking about having experienced (like the floodlights pointed at the bedroom windows, pulling down trees/bushes on the property line, etc.). Anyway, it struck on that memory chord, and it hits me as one of those stories that takes events that actually happen in reality and takes it a few steps farther - a common story-telling device that can actually work really well if it's done right.
Still have no interest in seeing it. Hoped there was a book it was based on, but sadly, no.
