Midnite Tempest

Dierdre's world is full of color right now. About a week or so ago, Derek proposed, and after a few days of careful consideration, she accepted. Um. On...the...com. You know, I will never make fun of miscomms again.

Re-rolled Raene on another server to tell her story there, so icly, she's had a visit from her 'sister'. The upshot of that is a legal name change and no more looking over her shoulder for the Crey. I hear tell Derek's writing a bit of trouble that she'll be part of soon, though, so I'm sure she'll have plenty on her mind between that and wedding planning.

And then, according to my notes, I went badge crazy over the weekend. Lessee... Crey Power Tank, Pwnz, Chief Swiper, Doctor's Ally, and Bane of Dannon. Go me. :)

Dark Scorpia
(level 49)

Okay, in the scene to end all scenes, Vincent completely shocked, surprised, and delighted Sabrina last week with his proposal. Seriously, people, the ring itself is so cool, I want to macro it. And duh. Of course she said yes. He's her first love. Can't wait to write the wedding with Vinnie. Had a lot of fun talking about ideas for it.

Finally got to do not just one, but two scenes involving Sister Vixen. And in one of them, Sabrina even got to know what she was talking about! :P Without putting too fine a point on it (don't want to detract from what all will be written by the other player), ma girl got to help her future sis-in-law figure out why she was having memory gaps and a return of her praetorian counterpart's influence.

Midnight Tempest

Off and running over on Pinnacle. Raene is learning the people around her in the Prelude, and I've already suckered Hal into starting on a story with her. Been a fun start. :)

Savannah Star
(level 33)

I said before that Serenity's life was being complicated by two men - one who wanted to take care of her and one that she could lose her heart to.

Yeah. She lost her heart. Or gave it. I like the second one. She gave it. His name is Grant (Rave Spider), and in him, she sees a mirror of the pain she was experiencing. There was some great back-and-forth there for a bit - like two people covered in 3rd degree burns trying to touch each other. In the end though, it was this sweet surrender to passion. Very nice story. Should be interesting to watch them develop.
