Some time ago, I began efforts to honor an open door policy for the SG as well as the promotion of the tavern as a neutral space for inter-coalition events. Last Friday, I came to the understanding that because of this, it cannot be a member group of the AoC, CU, or CoC.
I'd like to apologize to you all now for the abrupt disbandonment of the group. When this decision was made, I found that it created several problems that I felt were not worth standing by those ideals and seriously considered leaving the rp community completely.
I intend to re-form the SG during the next few days, and you're all welcome back under the following policies/guidelines. You're welcome to contact me in game at @Lela or leave a comment here at the blog if you're interested.
For IC purposes, Lara is considered missing and the bar has been closed in her absence.

The Mavericks SG is an rp group based around the setting of a bar called The Maverick Tavern.
Membership is open to anyone. However, keep in mind that the setting is a bar. Characters who cannot drink for whatever reason (underage, robots, etc.) do not necessarily make sense. Be prepared to explain why you're a customer in a bar.
As before, the base entry permissions will be set so that members may use team-ups to allow entry to non-members. Temporary coalitions may be set up for previously announced in-game events, but will be broken once those events are concluded.
If a member should have an issue with another member for ooc reasons, the issue should be worked out between those two players. If the issue is brought to the leadership, the leadership will first attempt to resolve the issue in an ooc teamchat discussion between the two players. If a resolution cannot be reached, the leadership will then ban one or both players (as determined by the nature of the problem) for a period of one month. At the end of this period, the players are welcome back provided their issue is resolved. If a second ban is incurred by any player, that player will no longer be able to return.
The Mavericks will not provide or maintain forum space. Announcements will be posted in the Message of the Day in game and/or here at this blog.

Addendum from Lela-The bar was reopened by Corvin when he returned to Paragon for a visit and found it closed. Upon further investigation he found that Lara was missing. No further information available at this time.
