Warning

I said it in comments the other day, but it bears repeating since I've just been reminded of it by a random tell.

Be wary of people with higher level toons sending tells to ask if your lower toon has or can get the mayhem mission for your level.

I'm not saying don't share. I'm cautioning that they're after the badge and (I hate sounding jaded, but) they really don't care if you're even in the mission much less about whether you'll get experience from it or not. Invite them instead of letting them invite you so that you're the one with the star. They can still run into the mission, but at least they can't kick you from the team or invite others. The mission clock keeps running once it's started even if you are kicked or quit team.

It sounds stupid, but when this happened to Mike the other day, it really felt like having his mission stolen. Yes, he can go back and do more newspaper missions to get it again, but geez...You'd think people would have a little common courtesy.

Just writing this entry feels so damn stupid.
