FYI

For those of you who begin to wonder where I am, things are shaping up to make this week a bit busy.

In keeping with a decision to be further involved in homework time for Caedyn, I've cleared some space for myself in the kitchen so that I can work on my D&D campaign while he's doing his homework. This allows me to keep a closer eye on him to help him focus as well as helps me get things started here for the campaign I promised the guys (and a once-a-month for Caedyn and eventually a twice-a-month for when Vinnie starts coming down for them). That's my afternoons right now (which will probably bleed into evenings before his bedtime while I try to spend more time with him after homework). Last year, some problems snuck up on us that he might have told us about had he felt like we were more available to him, and I want to make sure he gets back to being a quadruple honor roll student.

Also, as much as I'd like to keep further negativity from my blog, there's been a development within the last couple of days in my family that will require my attention as well. My aunt (also godmother) is in the hospital, and I'll be trying to make sure to get over to see her and lend a little support to Mom too. They're running tests this morning to confirm a bleeding ulcer prognosis, and from there, we'll find out whether she'll need surgery. She's in ICU this morning for tests as there are complications from heart problems and diabetes. Needless to say, this is a huge priority at the moment.

I'll be keeping the appointments I've made in the evenings, but please be patient and bear with me while I try to juggle all of this and adjust to the tighter afternoon schedule. If you're looking for me, email is best.
