It looks like CBS is re-airing the premiere of Jericho tonight. Check it out if you can (if you want, of course. I'm not twisting your arm or anything.) I really liked it the first time around enough to start watching the series.
It's kinda like Lost meets The Stand. This town gets cut off from the outside world after a mushroom cloud-like explosion can be seen waaaay off on the horizon. They've got actors that...they're familiar faces, but not huge Hollywood names...which for me made the cast just that little bit of comfy-familiar-without-huge-stars-taking-up-half-the-screentime. I'm looking forward to seeing where they take it.

Loved Jericho too. They say that next weeks episode is even better. It seems like it is in the vein of 24 and Prison Break, with the isolation of Lost (without the 'mythical' elements)
I managed to miss this show....twice. :( Looks like it has promise, which means it will be cancelled within a month (hope not, though)
I hear ya, Mark. God forbid they make it too good or too intelligent, right?
I don't know, though. It's not one of those shows with a premise that requires a brain to fully understand, so it might do well.
