Figured I'd proudly display the progression of the birthday cake, which Mikey actually made. We'd hoped for an ice cream cake, but they all insist on having a layer of chocolate (unless you pre-order, I'm sure, but costs got prohibitive at that point). Caedyn is not a chocolate fan, so we found french vanilla (his favorite flavor) cake mix and, of course, vanilla frosting, and this really neat green-colored decorating spray frosting stuff. It was awesome. :)
Yes, folks, his favorite color is green, so it had to be green. :P
And, I have to embarrass him with his "blowing out the candles" face...

And great job surprising Caedyn, guys! That'll definitely be a birthday to remember - probably one of his favorites that he'll tell stories about when he's older. :D
