First off, the Invention Origin enhancement system - the descriptions of which boggled my mind when I tried to understand them before yesterday - is actually not nearly as complicated as I'd originally thought. The tutorial is more than helpful (if a little repetitious). My biggest concern was that you'd have to guess or do a lot of research to find out what IOs make up a set and what benefits that set would give, but hovering your cursor over one will give you that information.
The university in Steel is purty inside too! (clickies) :)

I was a little dubious when I read the storage capacity limits for recipes and salvage, but the personal storage lockers for salvage were a great idea to offset this. Definitely putting access to those in our bases (as well as worktables) when this goes live.
OH! And the auction houses! I'd originally read about these and was like "Meh", figuring they'd probably never be anything I found real interest in. Again, very wrong. I must have spent an hour pouring over auction listings and playing around with the interface, completely tickled with the whole thing. (Yeah, I know. I'm weird.) You can see how much was paid for an item the last few sales before you list or bid, and just about everything can be listed there. Bids are blind, so there are no competetive bidding wars (which I know I'd hate), and you're not paying more than you're willing to.
Also, in case you'd like to be able to come back and check on the items you've put up for bid, there's a temp power you can buy that teleports you back to the auction house! :)
Also, if you're a bit frustrated with the information you've read before, I found this post breaking down the new features at the European forums tons more helpful.
The enhancement drop changes sound like a mixed blessing, and I have yet to explore them. All accounts of the new Statesman's Task Force have been good, but if I'm going to spend a few hours on a task force, I'd rather do it on Live with friends where I can get the badge for real rather than on a PuG on test. I've heard little things about Hami, but nothing solid, and I'm hoping to feel that out a little more before I attempt joining a raid. I'll most likely wait for the Pingus to lead one as I'm more comfortable with them than the drama llamas on Champ.
There are now stores in KR! SQUEEEEEEE!
And the Green Line now runs to Skyway and Founders Falls, so travel times are gonna be a lot less frustrating!
I couldn't help but play with some of the new emotes too, like the binoculars which turn out to be a bit big on tiny little Scorp...

And, I thought cell phones were supposed to be getting smaller? :P

Clipboard...

Obviously not a digital camera...

Fishing for...compliments? :P

And, a flashlight (up and down) to look for...um...your keys? (Random guy using the bigger drum emote on the side there)

My favorite has to be the waiting emote. She taps her foot, looks at her watch, then does that oh-so-typical girlie thing where she puts her hands on her hips, looking long-sufferring.

Wounded looks more like drunken to me...

Oh! And the long-awaited flight poses which can be used once you're flying! (These are clickies too, in order from 4 to 1.)

That's all I've got right now. I know it's much less gamer-y than most others will be, but let's face it...NOT a gamer. :)
