Good news and bad news

So, about a hundred phone calls later, I've got good news and bad news for a little update here.

The good news is that Mom's coming home! And she's bringing my brother Joe with her! Not sure on an exact when yet, because there's truck renting and packing to do, but she told me she hopes to be home by the end of the week.

The bad news is that Joe's wife and kids will not be coming with them. Lenore, TN has pretty much dried up job-wise, and even the Burger King near them cut their hours and stopped hiring, so Joe's coming down here to find a job and get them a place to stay. They'll be moving Kim and the two children as soon as he has a place for them, though, and then, babysitting duties for me!!!

Also in the "What's going on here" pile is the continuation of the Ankle Saga...

I was in for my MRI on Friday, and I'll be back to the specialist tomorrow to discuss the results. I'm also picking up my ankle sleeve this afternoon which promises a little more support than the stupid ace bandage I'll hopefully be able to say goodbye to when I get it! No word yet on when the physical therapy starts, but I'm assuming we'll get that situated after I meet with the doc tomorrow. Wish me luck!
