Update

I know I've been quiet the last few days, but I've been processing a bit. Last Wednesday, I went to see the specialist about my MRI results, and he reccomended surgery. It turns out that I have a "5MM Osteochondral Defect identified within the Lateral Talar Dome" which apparently translates to a tiny piece of cartiledge or bone that has been broken loose and is causing a great deal of pain. So, I'm off to a new doctor later this month. I know no one ever died from foot surgery, but I'm not one of those people who sees any visit to a hospital as a good thing, and the prospect of someone cutting into your body to do anything just...yeesh.

God's gotta cover that one, cuz it freaks me out.

Joey and Mom loaded up a U-Haul and came down on Friday. He's frustrated with leaving Kim and the kids behind, but I understand the concerns that brought about the decision. Mom's determined to go back and get them in a month come hell or highwater, though, and my father's trying to get him a job where he works. Joe came over Saturday night, and we talked for hours. I can't tell you how much I adored it!

Caedyn and I played with a little cold over the weekend, but he's back in school today, and I'm almost over my version of it. (He slept his off in a night, the little bugger :P )

And, the Mikey's off today, so we've got chores and errands after he picks Caedyn and Steve up! For now, I'm just talking his ear off and spending as much time as I can with him. :)
