Heroes giddiness

Okay, up until now, this season of Heroes has had me intrigued, yes, but hooked? Well, maybe less so than last season.

Until this week's episdode (which I just caught online) where I'm yelling at the screen and making a general fool of myself. I honestly didn't see the Adam thing coming. I actually said to myself something along the lines of "Well, that's one way to kill someone that won't die! Blow them up into a million iddy bitty pieces!"

I'm really enjoying the way they weave everyone's story together. It's awesome, and I can't wait to see where they go with it next. (Hopefully, it won't be too long of a wait in light of the Writers' Guild walkout.)

Ok, not to be all high-horsey about it, and feel free to tell me to stick it, but the writers are striking because they're not getting any money from those internet viewings (among other things). And if you support them, and you can't go out to NYC or LA and walk with them, one of the things we can do to be supportive is boycott the "new media" platforms.

Go ahead and watch tv when it's aired, and even tape it or DVR it, but if you can, skip the internet viewings or downloads, and avoid buying DVDs.

Just some thoughts.

In other news, I totally saw the Adam thing coming about half way through the episode, and did a happy little dance of correctness at the final scene.

You know, normally, I don't miss an ep, but this last month or so has been problematic. See, I usually do tape what I can't watch, but there have been days where I can't even do that, and the internet thing is preferrable over not catching it at all.

And when have I ever told you to stick it? Shame on you.

Jeez. Everyone paints me as such an ogre.

I know how I feel about people soapboxing sometimes, that's all!
:)

And happy belated birthday!

Thanks for the belated birthday wish.

I'm curious though. If you have negative feelings about other people "soap-boxing", then why do it?

I had no problem with your comment. I just found your response interesting.
