I've found myself looking back at the past a bit: those things that truly never mattered no matter how important they seemed at the time, the experiences that taught important life lessons, and the sweet memories amidst it all.
May we all let the first blow away in a breeze of forgetfulness, remember the lessons without bitterness, and fondly treasure the memories.
I've learned most of all that I'm truly blessed, and the greatest gift I've been given this year is a new closeness within my own family even in the face of injury and illness.
May you be surrounded by family and friends as you welcome 2008.
If 2007 was as much of a valley for you as it has been for us, then may 2008 find us all on a mountain top.
