This has come up again in an albeit minor way, so I just thought I'd let you know.

Lela's policy on gossip:

If you come to me with something about someone else...

If the words "So-and-so said" or "So-and-so did" are at the beginning of your first sentence...

And that person is a friend of mine?

I'm gonna go ask that person straight up.

I don't care if that makes me bad at being a girl or someone you don't want to associate with. If it means you don't want to trust me with anything, GOOD!

Every time you put that shit on me, I gotta carry it around on my damn shoulders, and that sucks. You don't know what else I've got on my shoulders these days.

And I'm gonna tell you to go talk to that person yourself, just like I have every other damn time you've come to me about someone else.
