Mark Schultz

I was just yelling at Mike that Mark's songs make me blubber a few days ago when I heard "Everything To Me" for the first time (and I couldn't get through the whole thing without crying). The thing is, his songs are absolutely beautiful and filled with love.

This one is for Mikey, who came home one night and made me sit and listen to it (and yes, cry), holding my hand (crying right along with me).

And for a long time, I simply refused to listen to "He's My Son", because even as the mother of a healthy child, it's somehow unbearable to a mother's heart. But, as I started looking for vids, I was staggered by the amount of homemade vids for this song commemorating the children of people who've walked their children through life-threatening illnesses. It's such a gorgeous, emotional song with so much depth of meaning to so many people, and I think it's Mark's most well known, because of that.
