Joy is stable and continuing to do very well. She finally got to meet her older sister and brother yesterday, as well as find out what Grandma's arms feel like. Mom went down to the hospital with Joe and Kim yesterday, and most of the tubes and whatnot are gone, so they finally felt like it was time to introduce Rose to (in her words) her Baby Joy.
Mike's settling into his new job, and I can finally tell you all... NEVER get your car done at Sears, if only for the very sad treatment of their employees and the continual withdrawal of employee benefits. Once Kmart bought Sears out, it became a wholly different company. Since then, a lot of benefits were stripped altogether, the bulk of employee health insurance premiums were shifted to the employees just as they were going up, and verbally abusive management became the norm. Fortunately, there are still shops out there that value their employees, and Mike's found a home with one of them, owned by Firestone. We're thanking God a lot for this, and so far, Mike's only got good things to say about his managers and co-workers. It's nice to see him smiling when he talks about work again.
There are other things going on, of course, but that's the best of the best, and as soon as there's more, I'll post it.
Have a great day!
