While my brother continues to remind me that this is a marathon, not a sprint, I'm so absolutely excited to share with you some good news. Yesterday, Joy had a good day.
There'd been a blockage in her kidneys that is now completely gone sooner than expected. Kim got to hold her for the first time, finally, and change her diaper. It was wonderful to see Kim smiling yesterday.
There are still a few concerns and issues to be resolved, but our family is incredibly grateful for the miracle of a really good day after such a hard one just the day before. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
