Thank you

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday. I had such a nice day, and each of you who thought of me made it all the better. (Especially two particular people - the one of you who gave me the best present I could've asked for on Saturday and the special person who logged into CoX last night just to say happy birthday in spite of everything they're going through in their irl life.)

This last year has taught me so much about appreciating the people in my life and not missing a moment with them. It's been an easier ride than other years in that way - learning to take stock of the blessings I have - but it's been harder in learning to accept and embrace them rather than pull away for fear that they may not be there once I've acknowledged them.

While physically, it's been one of the worst years of my life, emotionally and spiritually, it's been one of the best and happiest. I thank God everyday for what I have and the chance to really appreciate every blessing He sends my way.

So, thank you to all my friends for the blessings and beauty you add to my little corner of the world. I can't imagine life without you.
